Jero shears are copied by many brands, but Jero is still the only brand using quality stainless steel, commercial grade polymers and extra heavy-duty replaceable spring. For many years Jero produced this shear for a well known US based kitchen utensil brand. When that company decided to drop Jero for a lower cost manufactured, Jero decided to continue manufacturing this popular shear. Jero still manufacturers this shear in their modern manufacturing facility located in Portugal. In 2020 the blade edges were improved to lower drag.
